Adding some s’edge’ to Salmo wetland

The BCWF Wetlands Education Program headed back to Salmo at the beginning of October to add over 200 sedges, rushes, dogwoods and willows to the newly established wetland.  We built the wetland next to KP Park as part of the 2013 Wetland Institute, daylighting a wetland and increasing storm water infiltration.  A big thanks to Dan Danforth and Robert Vliet who lent a helping planting hand!
