Welcoming the Newest Member of our Wetlands Education Team!

Please join us in welcoming our newest member of the Wetlands Education team, Maureen “Moe” Nadeau. We are very excited to have Moe on board as our new Wetlands Program Assistant. Moe graduated from the University of British Columbia, with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science. Her past work experience has been with both municipal and federal government, as well as the University of British Columbia, in various environmentally focused roles.

Moe is passionate about creating sustainable behaviour change through education and outreach initiatives. She believes her new role as a Wetlands Program Assistant will allow her to further this passion by bringing new ideas to the education team and inspiring community members across BC to promote wetland conservation.

When not working, you can find Moe in the outdoors, seeking her next adventure. Her favourite pastimes include splitboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. She is always ready to spend time in nature, no matter what! We are very excited to work with her and can’t wait to see what she will bring to the program.

Welcome Moe!
