Version 2 of the “Wetlands of British Columbia” digital resource book is now available for download!

The first version of this field guide to indicator species for wetland classification was initially released in 2022. Version 2, released in early 2024, includes updated photos and sections.

We hope it will help guide your plant identification as you venture out into B.C.’s wetlands, marshes, bogs and fens. A big thank-you to Jamie Fenneman, Ryan Durand and Alice Lee for putting this together and Nadia Pagliaro, Jamie Long and Kyla Rushton for contributing.
