While the Kootenay workshops are going on in Castlegar and Nelson this June, so is the local press for the Wetlands Education Program! On Thursday Neil was interviewed on Kootenay Co-op Radio by phone during the Kootenay morning show.

Here he discusses the Map our Marshes course being held in Nelson, BC. This course (initially titled the Puddle Project) aims to give citizens the skills necessary to use a GPS device in the mapping of small, under-appreciated wetlands for the purpose of common knowledge and future conservation.
